Accommodation and facilities:When arriving to the hotel they stated that I haven t made a reservation and that I should search for another accomodation. Only after producing emails with confirmation of booking and payment, small efforts were made to correct their mistakes. Eventually we were offered a (bad) room in the midst of Kaosan Road, take it of leave it. Service was bad, room was not good and service (in both hotels) was even worse!

Accommodation and facilities:My wife & I were booked by this hotel last October 10, 2010, 3 months earlier. When we arrived last January 29,2011, we were surprised there was no room available for us though we have already paid the hotel online. We were instead accompanied to their other hotel, Sawasdee Khaosan Inn, just a walking distance and was billeted there. My point here is, we cannot rely advance booking with Sawasdee Smile Inn...

Accommodation and facilities:Bad, very bad. Small room with TV (only 5 chanels), shower & WC in a very very small space, window impossible to close completely, dirty & broken small room, no elevator, stairs very hard to climb, AC very noisy, room in front of a building with the noise of the AC evacuation. Luckily, only stay one night. Not recommended even for the price. For the same price, you can find better in Bangkok. I don t understand why Sawasdee.com can propose this kind of hotel.

Accommodation and facilities:I didn t enjoy my stay here at all. The room was tiny you wouldn t be able to skin a rat in their. The bed was also really small. We arrived at 6 in the morning couldnt check in until 12 and we had to pay to leave our bags at the hotel. Breakfast was included which isn t worth getting up for.I ordered my breakfast my choice was continental which was toast and also fruit.The toast came I waited 10 minutes and still no fruit when other people who ordered the same had theirs at same time.I had to ask the waiter where my fruit was he was incredibly rude and walked off I thought to get the fruit it still didnt come. I asked again I finally got the fruit but with no apology. I felt like I was doing their job for them.If you want a comfy room and good service don;t stay here

Accommodation and facilities:Near to Khaosan Road, but really poor guest house. The bed is very poor, and of cause very uncomfortable. Room is the smallest one I ve ever seen in my life. Very slow service on booking, and bad attitude. it s not a 600B room, at most 200B one.

Accommodation and facilities:we have stayed here twice now, hotel is great, staff are pleasant, rooms are a bit on the small side but that ok as you dont spend much time in your room. Clean and cheap. Will definitely stay here again

Accommodation and facilities:The worst hotel I had ever seen. the rooms are very small and very dirty. I ordered and paid for three nights and checked out after the first night. don t order a room at this hotel, unless you want to punish yourself.

Accommodation and facilities:awful!!! it all started at check in. we did not print out our reservation from sawadee.com but we had not done this for any other bookings with sawadee and it was never a problem with any other accomodation. the check in staff were very abrupt and down right rude about this. we went to a local internet place and printed our confirmation and took it back to the smile in where they could not find our reservation. we waited for about 40 mins to get this sorted. it is cheap accomodation but there are better places to stay at the same price. It was dirty and run down. the shower leaked all over the bathroom and it was flooded. some one did come and fix it rather quickly tho.

Accommodation and facilities:Place was nice, close to the places that I wanted to see, and to KSR. Friendly staff, food was good. Hygene was bad though. I got back home and had to go in for treatment for scabies. Though at first sight the room looked kinda clean, I guess it wasn t so. Just for that, I ll never use this particular hotel again.

Accommodation and facilities:I arrived at the hotel around 130am of 19 Nov 2008. The hotel was not easy to find. The receptionist was an arrogant girl who did little effort to locate my reservation. She also insisted that I pay for one more day because my reservation was for 18 Nov to 19 Nov. But I explained to her forcibly that I was checking out 19 Nov noontime. I really had a bad time with the receptionist. The room was not what I expected but for a cheap rate I think it was good enough. The restaurant service is good and I liked the waiters because they were courteous and helpful. Maybe Sawasdee management can call the attention of that arrogant receptionist. She will scare clients. I for one will not stay in that hotel again.

Accommodation and facilities:Hotel is far than what we imagined, the bed is kinda dirty, restroom is small and unorganized, the front office is kinda friendly, and we are nearby the prostitution place...we supposed to stay another 2 nights there but we decided to cancel it and find another hotel.

Accommodation and facilities:Rooms very small and basic - near backpacker central. Bar is opened 24 hours which can prove to be quite dangerous. No lift so if you have heavy luaggage it may not be ideal. Cheap and basic!

Accommodation and facilities:i have stayed here many times... the restaurant and hotel are always clean and the staff always pleasant.. lets face it...its NOT The ritz..but for the money...its a GREAT bargain!
