Rooms: Bed is a bit hard, decor is quite ok. Toilet is simple. Internet needs to pay. Lobby: a bit smelly Breakfast: cooked dishes are tasty, buffet are so so. Dishes varieties never change much throughout my 3 days stay there. Location: Has a great night market behind the street of the hotel that opens from 7pm-3am. Lots of night shopping & eating. Also 6 massage places along the short road in front of the hotel. MRT: 10mins walk away.

Well, sorry to say but I would never go back to Palazzo Bangkok again. This is because the air there is so bad and probably very poisoning to your lungs. The canal on the walk way in is suffocating. Once in the lobby of the hotel, things are ok. But when we got up into our room, 520 the smell is bad again. this time I think is from the sewer treatment facility right in the back of the hotel. The service is fine, standard. Staff are good. Room is nice clean and spacy. the air quality is bad all around.

in my history and experience to stay in Palazzo Hotel with good satisfy but i need to specify or to high light with the Room rate during high season...could the Palazzo management to give good rate to you royal customer as i always stay in your hotel with normal rate ?? if yes i may come back again with my family on Feb.2011 for holiday

Pros-Spacious room.Nice plasma Tv.Prompt room service and cleaning.All staffs are polite,friendly.Sumptous breakfast. 7-11 at hotel doorstep. Cons-No bathtub in my room(not told)Teacup w/o spoon and satchets, Connecting door too thin(loud noise nx door),Location,10 mins to nearest subway and 15-20mins to shopping.

I have stayed in this hotel a few times as I like its location which is close to the Huay Kwang MRT station and the night market. The room (now wooden flooring) and toilet have been renovated. But the 32 LCD TV is now encased in a wooden frame which is silly. Hotel guests cannot now plug in their own DVD or video player devices. Movies are dubbed in Thai and I wonder why. Though I asked for a non smoking room, I did not get one. Worst is that when I first walked into my room, the heavy stench of tobacco was overbearing. Lifts and lift lobby areas often smelt of cigarette. Surely house keeping dept can improve on the quality of rooms by opening up windows or doors for a few more minutes to get rid of the smell. They can use fragrance spray too. This is not difficult to achieve. Breakfast is above average and it has a nice gym at the 2nd floor for guests use (Free).
