Accommodation and facilities:การบริการที่ดี ห้องพักสะอาด แต่เข้าพักในช่วงที่โรงแรมมีการปรับปรุงใหม่ ก็เลยทำให้มีเสียงรบกวนมาก และยังมีกลิ่นสีที่ทาใหม่ัยังไม่จาง แต่โดยรวมก็ถือว่าดีค่ะ

Accommodation and facilities:我20/7到泰國,28,29,30訂左呢間Sofitel Centara Grand Bangkok3晚,以曼谷平均700蚊一晚酒店比分,呢間sofitel真係差到無朋友,地點極之唔方便,酒店附近無商店餐廳,不過都情有可原,因自己揀嘅,但服務態度之劣真係曼谷少有,我訂左deluxe room3晚,28號下午一點到front desk check in時,接待我果位職員話房仲未清潔好,要等一小時左右,若唔想等可以每晚加一千泰幣upgrade便可立即有房,我一話唔需要她便即時轉身處理其他事情,我就拖住兩喼行李企在前枱傻吓儍吓.....無奈之下揾張沙發坐低諗住拎部notebook出黎上網打發時間,點之原來大堂並無free wifi,死死氣走去前枱問D職員酒店wifi上網幾錢一日,個職員好好奇咁問番我真係要上一日?我say yes後佢話wifi fee係585泰幣.........................per one hour,一日即係14040泰幣......需唔需要開account?我當堂成個人張大口直哂咁企系到,過左成分鐘先有返反應,然後好有禮咁同佢講暫時無咁嘅需耍,然後慢慢轉身行返去sofa收番埋本notebook,到左第二日,我2點出街去拜四面佛,臨出房著左clean up room果盞燈,到我夜晚10點番到房,房間完全原封不動咁保持出門時環境,水,毛巾,冲涼用品完全無補充,因太累同埋巳經成10點,唔想搞太多野就無打電話落去投訴,跟住一日都係下午1點多出去玩,出門再著左盞clean up燈,到夜晚8點幾返房,今日终於都有幫我執左房,但係發覺個垃圾桶D垃圾仲系到,即時打電話去housekeeping 問佢點解無清理垃圾桶,佢回覆我:because not full !HA~~HA!!!

Accommodation and facilities:We booked a club room for three nights (stay 3 and pay for 2). When we arrived at 1 am after a long flight from Australia (4 am our time)the reception decided to allocate us a room. I would have expected them to have all this ready to go when we arrived. We were also offered entry to the club lounge for $1,200 baht each. I explained that we had a club room already but they did not appear to understand. We were too tired to think about it and declined. Room looked like a standard hotel room, certainly not a club room. I asked the porter if this was a club room and he said yes. We then received a phone call from reception, saying they had made a mistake, we already had access to the club lounge in our package! The club lounge was reasonably good, hardly anybody in there though. Girls on the desk appeared more interested in Facebook than the Lounge. I wanted to use my ipad as we were entitled to 30 minutes free wifi. Girl on the desk told me to enter a password and room number. This brought up a charge, and I queried this but she said there would be no charge. I then chose 30 mins from the options. Later on in our stay we found two PCs behind two doors that had been closed during our stay. These were the computers were needed to use, not our own equipment. A tour of the club lounge would have sorted out these issues. On check out I was charged 600 baht for the internet access which we complained about. The duty manager agreed that perhaps this was not clear and removed the charge. We they attempted to charge us 240 baht for Evian water which we did not take from the mini bar. I explained to the reception staff that I have a simple rule in hotels - if I sign for it, I pay for it. If they thought we had taken two bottles of water they should have come to our room during our stay and discussed the matter with us in our room and not in reception. This old age problem with mini bars is tiresome and after all these years a better solution should be found. We also found out that our rooms were not club rooms but standard rooms designated as club rooms . That is a first for me! The club rooms were all being renovated. Some communication in this hotel is lacking and needs to improve otherwise guests are confused. All in all not a good stay, we will go elsewhere in Bangkok next time.

Accommodation and facilities:Hotel and rooms are good. The hotel itself is a bit in nowhere. There are no shops/bars in the surrounding area. To the city centre it s a 30min taxi ride. The hotel is renovating almost all areas and the noise level throughout the day is very high. One of the highlights have been the 24h hotel restaurant/cafeteria. We received one of the best Penang curries I ve ever tried - @ 2:00 in the morning.

Accommodation and facilities:overall staff was very polite, friendly & efficient throughout my stay at Sofitel. Aside from the uncomfortable & soft pillow, room is very clean with nice deco. Thumbs up & keep up the good work!

Accommodation and facilities:We spent two nights here in Aug 09. Room was a little dated but we received an excellent rate from Sawadee of AUD$113 incl breakfast so no complaints from us. Gym is excellent, can recommend this. Swimming pool is in a very nice oasis garden but needs a good clean and the area around it needs sweeping. Usual charge for internet access which was a nuisance. Shuttle bus service to Chidlom and Silom shopping centres and also to the famous weekend markets. Central Shopping Centre close to the close, within walking distance. Breakfast good, western and asian dishes.
Reservation service:Good booking although we did think we qualified for the Sofitel Inspired package as we stayed during this period. Website should be changed to ensure that Special Rate guests do not qualify for this package. |

Accommodation and facilities:Great priced rooms on Sawadee.com Sofitel upgraded me to a bigger room free of charge on arrival too. It s a little out of the way for most of the tourist spots but the skytrain was only a short cab ride away. The choice of food at the restaurants was great too. Room well exceeded my expectations.

Accommodation and facilities:If you go to Bangkok, whatever you do dont stay at the Sofitel Centara. Ill tell you why...its made of the same concrete as you would expect to find in a council tower block, not surprising then that thats what it looks like. I think that this was perhaps the architects first attempt at a habitable dwelling after a short career designing multi storey car parks. And it gets worse when you go inside the carbuncle.it was origianaly interior designed in the 70 s and has not had a makeover since, my room and indeed the entire hotel was ugly,tired and dirty and had that strange smell of an old persons house. I was particulary repeled by the Kilo of dust caked into the aircon vent in room 1124, did you know that dust is 80% dead skin? my aircon made a lot of noise but didnt actually cool the room, the roar from the six lane highway provides a constant hum in your room, the check in boy couldnt find my booking and was so nervous when he when he had to tell me for the second time in as many hours that my room wasnt ready that i thought he was going to wet himself, my limousine was a tired 10year old Mercedes E class, the food in the chinese restaurant was...well lets put it this way i wouldnt give it to my dog even if he had just eaten my favourite shoes! Its a sad and dreary place best left to flight crews and budget pakage holiday makers. My sugestion....sleep in a park or under a motorway bridge, walk the streets all night..do anything other than stay at the Sofitel Centara.

Accommodation and facilities:Have stayed here before and its good hotel with clean room and great breakfast. Very handy location for us who know the city well, but might be a bit far out from the centre for many (originally was good for the Airport but of course now its far from the new one).

Accommodation and facilities:The hotel has all the 5 stars facilities and the breakfast is good. The location link to a Central Plaza shopping mall and close to chatuchak and there is transfer from hotel to Central Chidlom. Basically we choose this hotel as we are on business trip and there is less traffic jam issue.
