Accommodation and facilities:Stayed here for 2 nights, unfortunately we picked the wrong place to live in Bangkok. This is totally NOT an area for tourists, this hotel is primarily used for hosting conferences. The room (deluxe) was not very impressive, old & wore down, although it was clean and proper.

Accommodation and facilities:Inte riktigt så nära flygplatsen som vi trodde. I området finns det ingenting förutom villor och små verkstäder/firmor. Man är hänvisad till hotellet som var OK. Prisvärt men inte mer.

Accommodation and facilities:The bed was hard The room needed updating No hot water when we checked in for shower the mini bar beer in the fridge was out of date.I informed reception the morning after about the beer and it still was not changed after returning to the room to retire for the night. I would not stay at this hotel again

Accommodation and facilities:We like the Avana hotel and stay here all the time while in Bangkok , breakfast is buffet style help yourself , rooms are good , if you want to go out the bellboy will call a taxi for you. We recommend this hotel.

Accommodation and facilities:Excellent value and no complaints at all, in fact would be hard pressed to beat for price. was on 15th floor and no problems with noise or smells anywhere. has everything in close proximity to the airport that Bangkok city centre offers and will stay again for sure.

Accommodation and facilities:Avana is always a great hotel for a night or two if you want to avoid heavy traffic in Bangkok and just want to relax especially coming in to Thailand or flying out. All facilities are great, they have friendly staff.. I will always stay at the Avana over and over again.
Reservation service:Booking on Res24asia.com was very easy as usual with good rates and swift booking and confirmation. I always use RES24ASIA.COM for my Thaiand getaways. |

Accommodation and facilities:This was the second time I have used the Avana Hotel. My wife and I chose the hotel for its close proximity to her cousin s apartment in Bang Na. The first time, I tried booking it online but it did not work. I had to book it through the hotel and they stuck me with a Dynamic Currency Conversion (or DCC). Even though I told them 4 times I wanted the room charged in Thai Baht (and they assured me it was), it wasn t! I paid an extra 4% on top of what my Credit Union charged on my Card. I also asked for a manager and they wouldn t call him/her to front desk. Even though they were friendly, they would not work with us (my wife is Thai; no language barrier here). Thanks Avana (NOT)! The second time (yes, we gave Avana a second chance), I booked the hotel with Sawadee.com and was charged in Thai Baht, removing any problems that the Avana could cause with a DCC. They informed us that the WiFi (which was free the first time) was extra this time. We paid since I needed to be in contact with my business in the United States. The hotel is 25-30 minutes to and from the airport as well as 20-30 minutes driving to Central Mall (but only 5 minutes back). The breakfast buffet was not very good, in fact, very bland. The room was clean, yet unspectacular (you get what you pay for). Would I go back, not sure. I would definitely look at other options in area before choosing this hotel again.

Accommodation and facilities:The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful and my standard room was very big, clean and comfortable. The airport pick up service was also great, with a friendly face waiting to pick me up from the airport making it a very stress free stay in Bangkok.

Accommodation and facilities:this hotel is a long way from the airport!!! its a very nice hotel but it takes about 50 mins during the day & 25 mins at 5am with no traffic to get to airport.

Accommodation and facilities:You get what you pay for. It Just makes it as an over night hotel it is very worn halls are pretty dark and dingey and the carpet in our room was pretty sticky?? beds were Ok bu must admit to checking sheets etc to see if clean - They were however I have not had the urge to do this before. It is about a 30- 40 minute drive from Airport to hotel. To get to the central shopping centre it is definately a drive. Would I go back - probably not as it was not as close to the airport as I would have liked.

Accommodation and facilities:We had deluxe room with small balcony on the 18th floor with spectacular view at night onto the city. Hotel located just 25 minutes from the new airport, meter taxi around 300 bat. Room was spacious, well air conditioned with complimentary snacks and water. Bathroom equiped in shampoo, shower gel, tooth paste and tooth brush. we had a lovely meal in the restaurant with a view on the swimming pool that looked beatuiful all lighten up at night. Breakfats in the morning was buffet type, opened from 6.30 so if you have flight at around this time you may want to speak to room service and arrange a packed meal with them maybe. I choose the room as it was a last night of our stay in Bangkok and it was very handy for our morning flight.

Accommodation and facilities:A GOOD CLEAN HOTEL 20-25 MIN FROM THE AIRPORT, ENJOY STAYING HERE AFTER A LONG FLYGHT . SWIMMINGPOOL ALL FOR YOURSELF MOST OF THE TIME , NICE AND FRENDLY STAFF A NICE PLACE TO STAY BETWEEN FLYGHTS

Accommodation and facilities:My stay at the Avana was wonderful. For the price, it was a top hotel...the rooms were very comfortable, clean, and the view from the room overlooking Bangkok was great. The staff were very polite and spoke English, the cleaning staff did a great job, and the food was excellent. The breakfast was always very good.

Accommodation and facilities:We found it to be a nice hotel. The breakfast was something we never seen before!! It was more like luch buffé. The staff was nice and helpful, we have never before had our glases of beer being filled when they were almost emtpy,and then the waiter went backwards to his position,thereby never turning his back to us!!! We would say that this more or less a stopover hotel, due to fact that the neighbourhood is not all that great and it is a long way a way from the city center.

Accommodation and facilities:Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhaeltnis (fuer Bangkok). Grosse, saubere Zimmer (werden zur Zeit nach und nach renoviert) mit grossen Balkonen (Blick ueber die Stadt). Dachterasse mit Restaurat, Pool und Fitness-Studio. Gute Wahl in Bangna (in der Naehe der Messe). Aber: Weiter Weg bis ins Stadtzentrum und ca. 20 bis 30 Minuten bis zum Flughafen.
